As the little tree began to grow it became apparent that two heads were stemming from one root system. The freak peech tree with two heads grew smarter than the other one headed trees in it’s orchard and began to conspire with its peers to overthrow Farmer Alijando’s fascist control.

In an act of martyrdom and honor, tree 16b uprooted itself and fell onto Farmer Alijandro as he was plucking the fruit from it’s branches and the orchard was thrown into blissful anarchy. When the Farmer freed himself from underneath the late tree 16b he decided that peech had to be disposed of, less his power be relinquished and his business dwindle.

Peech was torn from its vitamin rich roots and thrown in the compost pile with the decaying bodies of other freethinking philanthropists. There, peech held onto the strings of its fragile life and survived by feeding off the Nitrogen emitted from the microbes in the compost.

A shameful and blasphemous existence turned the optimistic organism into a pessimist. Frustrated with the injustice of central California, peech packed up it’s few possessions and moved to Chico where it attended a university with the dream of one day returning to Alijandro Farms and righting the senseless injustice that had tortured the farm’s denizens for generations.

On graduation day, peech returned to the farm and confronted the torturous dictator. Things got messy and after a struggle for the gun peech found itself staring at the fading life of Farmer Alijandro. With minutes left in his life Farmer Alijandro confessed that he was in fact, Lucifer the dark lord. Pleased by his honorable warrior death, Farmer Alijandro in his dieing breath granted peech the power of sound, so naturally they joined a band. "
